Dr. Tenzing T. Lama, M.D., M.Sc (Res), is a highly distinguished anesthesiologist and critical care physician with expertise in perioperative medicine, pain management, and critical care echocardiography. He holds a Master of Science in Pathology from the University of Oxford as a Keasbey Fellow and trained at Harvard. Dr. Lama completed his residency at the University of Washington and a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, serving as Chief Fellow in Critical Care Echocardiography.
An accomplished researcher and educator, Dr. Lama has numerous peer-reviewed publications and has held prestigious leadership roles, including Co-Director of the Harvard-Mayo Critical Care Echocardiography Consortium. His clinical and research focus includes mechanical circulatory support, perioperative organ protection, and hemodynamic monitoring. Now joining the Anconsultants team as an educator, Dr. Lama brings unparalleled expertise, a dedication to teaching, and a passion for advancing anesthesiology and critical care medicine.
