Michael Franklin is a board-certified anesthesiologist with specific interests in multimodal, opioid-sparing anesthetic techniques, as well as perioperative echocardiography. He attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his residency in anesthesiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport. He worked as a staff anesthesiologist at LSU for one year, before beginning his fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology at the University of Florida. He will complete this fellowship in 2018.
In his spare time, Dr. Franklin enjoys running, cycling, SCUBA diving, Crossfit, and Texas Longhorns athletics, and he has two Australian Shepherds.
