Katrina M. von Kriegenbergh is a native of Southern California. After receiving an undergraduate degree in psychology from at the University of California at Berkeley, she St. George’s University School of Medicine, where graduated with honors and research distinction. During her anesthesia residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, she served as chief resident. Following graduation, Dr. von Kreigenbergh remained at UTHSC to complete a pain medicine fellowship under Gabor Racz and Miles Day.
Dr. von Kriegenbergh has conducted research for and co-authored several textbook chapters for general anesthesiology, cardiac anesthesiology, and pain medicine, including chapters in Morgan and Mikhail’s Clinical Anesthesiology companion book. She has given presentations at national and regional conferences for the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and Texas Pain Society.
