Bradley Besson was Chief Resident during his residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating, he joined the faculty there, where he served on the Residency Interview Committee, Program Evaluation Committee, Anesthesia Electronic Medical Record Committee, and Hospital Quality Assurance Committee. He also developed and initiated a new model to enhance efficiency of outpatient ophthalmology procedures.
Dr. Besson has authored textbook chapters, published articles, and given presentations on a broad range of topics, including perioperative myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, pediatric anesthesia emergencies, dexmedetomidine for perioperative sedation, drug shortages, and aspiration. He has also served on the 82nd Airborne Division for the US Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
