Alexendra Mazur graduated from Yale University in a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Subsequently, she received her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine, and anesthesia training at Maimonides Medical Center, NY. She received extensive training in Thoracic, Neuroanesthesia, and Obstetrics at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Mazur has participated in research on Tetralogy of Fallot, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Remifentanil for Labor Analgesia, Transversus Abdominis Plan block, and the Epidemiology of Cesarean Sections in South America. Her list of publications includes papers on the Management of Preeclampsia in women with HELLP and Breastfeeding with HIV.
Alexandra enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking, traveling, and learning different languages. She has worked as a baseball coach for inner city youth.
