Casey Hitt is a clinician with a cause. Currently serving on the Development Council of Huntsville Hospital, she is actively engaged in identifying, cultivating, and educating various constituencies community, helping to create a network of informed advocates for the Huntsville healthcare programs. She also works with the Huntsville Junior League, an organization committed to promoting voluntarism and community improvement through the action and leadership of women.
Dr. Hitt received both her medical school degree and anesthesiology training at the University of Alabama. Her research interests have included massive transfusions, pre-existing medical comorbidities, and outcomes. Her extracurricular interests include traveling, painting, drawaing, and reading.
