Braden Hestermann has had a distinguished military career, in which he has assumed a variety of important leadership roles as officer and physician. He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD where he served as Class President and received the Board of Regents Award. After graduation, he completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, TX.
During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Dr. Hestermann supported our nations efforts as a medical platoon leader. At his current position at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, TX, in addition to providing the full range of perioperative care, he is also the director of regional anesthesia and liaison to the trauma committee at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX.
