Junaid Kamal is a doubly Board-certified anesthesiologist in anesthesia and pain management. He received his anesthesia training and completed a fellowship in pain medicine at University of Texas, Houston. Afterwards, he served as faculty at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Kamal has published extensively in a variety of anesthesia-related topics, including difficult airways, spinal cord stimulation, morbid obesity, and combined spinal epidural analgesia for labor. He is currently involved in a research project on the efficacy of propranolol in the treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome. He has also worked as an expert medical reviewer for the Arizona State Medical Board.
Dr. Kamal is currently providing clinical services at the Interventional Pain Management Center in Bangor, Maine.
