Taylor Vice has the honor of serving as a Captain in the United States Army at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. Dr. Vice attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX, receiving the Transitional Intern of the Year award. He completed his anesthesia residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
Throughout his undergraduate and graduate training, Dr. Vice has assisted in four different humanitarian missions in the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras. He has received two Army Achievement Medals and one Army Commendation Medal. In addition to normal perioperative clinical duties, he serves as an ATLS instructor for the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute, Chief of Obstetrical Anesthesia, and liason for the anesthesia department for gastroenterology and perioperative blood services at Womack Army Medical Center.
